Physical pendulum and torsion pendulum
A rod pivoted at different distances from its centre has T = 2π√((k² + d²)/gd) with a minimum at d = k; a torsion pendulum has T = 2π√(I/κ). Compare with the simple pendulum.

What you do in the lab
Change the controls and watch the physics behave in real time in 3D. Live readouts and graphs show the numbers behind it, and the Learn tab has the theory, procedure, observations and viva questions. Works on a phone or a laptop, in English and Hindi.
Topics: physical pendulum · torsion pendulum · moment of inertia · radius of gyration · period
